Back Country Horsemen is a national organization located in 22 states. Our goal is "To perpetuate the common sense use and enjoyment of horses in America's back country and wilderness." The organization works "to insure that public lands remain open to recreational stock use." We assist in maintaining and constructing trails, support facilities, installing signs and educating other users on low impact use methods.
