We have been in the Outfitting/Guiding business in the same area for over thirty years and can offer you that QUALITY hunting and/or fishing excursion to Wyoming. The species that we hunt in the Pinedale area and the Bridger Wilderness include Elk, Mule Deer, Shiras Moose, Pronghorn, Black Bear, and Big Horn Sheep. In addition, we hunt Whitetail Deer, Wild Turkey, and Antelope in the Black Hills of Northeastern Wyoming. Our Summer months include fishing and wilderness pack trips into the famous Bridger Wilderness for all trout species, including Golden, Rainbow, Cutthroat, Brook, and Brown Trout, as well as Grayling.
We offer a full range of summer activities including Dude Ranch stays & overnight Cabin Rentals, overnight camping & steak fry's, horseback riding, antler hunting, guided fishing (both in and out of the Wilderness), and Bridger Wilderness Horse Pack Trips.
Hidden Heart Ranch has been added to our overall activities for your convenience and enjoyment. Overnight Cabin stays, restaurant, private fishing access, horseback riding and Dude Ranch stays.

Big Sandy Lodge is 44 miles from the nearest town of Boulder, Wyoming. We're at 9,100 feet elevation and bordering the Bridger Wilderness at the southern end of the spectacular 90-mile long Wind River Mountain Range. There are no public phones or electricity here at the Lodge, so leave the rest of the world behind and enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery, fantastic fishing, horseback riding on wilderness trails, the smell of evergreen trees, and incredible star-filled night skies.
From Big Sandy Lodge, the Fremont, Lowline, Highline, and Big Sandy trails will take you to 40 different lakes. Six different species of trout await the avid angler! Most lakes are within 8 miles of the lodge. Some of the more remote lakes are within 15 miles. How early can you get in? That depends, of course, on the weather each year and when the snow melts. Some years we can get up to the lodge in mid to late May and the snow doesn't fly again until mid-October. We can't predict the exact date until we get into the spring. Access by horse begins in June, before then we hike in. Great fishing is available in the nearby lake just a few steps from your cabin door! Please call for more information if you want to get in very early in the season.
